Membership is open to all. There are no dues or any other kind of financial commitment.

There are many different roles required to successfully run a Food Pantry, Clothes closet and Community Kitchen. There are many to choose from. As a caveat, if you wish to participate in the food distribution effort either in Food pickup and delivery or in selecting and packing orders, these involve some heavy lifting and persons with physical limitations should not volunteer for these activities. Please review the list below if you wish to donate some of your time to our organization. Below is a list of these roles.

Lisa Parker is the volunteer that supervises Volunteer scheduling. She also supervises and runs the Community Kitchen operation and volunteer scheduling.

If you would like to join us please come fill out an application at the pantry on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday between 10:00 AM and 12:00 Noon. and a Society officer will contact you.

  3. Food pickup: Mondays, Thursdays & Fridays

  5. Food sorting and putting away in appropriate refrigeration unit
  6. Inventory Stock shelves
  7. Accounting/ bookkeeping
  8. Food drive support

  10. Volunteer recruitment and supervision and scheduling

  13. Advocacy
  14. Maintenance
  15. Christmas basket program
  16. Community Kitchen: Server/cook / coordinator
